12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Make a Difference as a CNA in Mental Health Care Staffmark is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Columbia, SC, supporting a trusted client that provides mental health services. This is a rewarding opportunity for a CNA who is passionate about patient care, behavioral health, and making a real impact every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide hands-on patient care and active treatment, including leading therapeutic groups Complete CNA assessments, admissions, and annual documentation Support the development and implementation of Positive Behavioral Support Plans (PBSPs) Monitor patient progress and ensure compliance with care standards Collaborate with the treatment team to support individualized care plans Assist with patient mobility, including lifting, transferring, and wheelchair support

What You Bring:

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Experience in mental health, behavioral health, or patient care preferred Ability to work with diverse patient populations across all life stages Strong multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to work weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather as needed Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, squat, push, and pull

Training & Requirements:

Maintain CPR certification and required training (MAPS/MANDT, SCEIS, etc.) Basic computer skills for documentation and patient records
