Overnight CNA - Senior Care of Marion Marion, SC 29571 Part-time, Full-time Part-time, Full-time Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as an Overnight Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) specializing in senior care. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents during overnight hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will support a variety of medical and personal needs, working closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional service in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your expertise in specialized care settings such as memory care, hospice, or acute care will be instrumental in promoting positive outcomes for our residents. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working overnight shifts that suit your lifestyle. Duties Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor and record vital signs, medication administration, and changes in residents' conditions using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or PCC Provide specialized care for residents with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment Support infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and proper medical documentation to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with nursing staff on complex cases involving critical care, ICU procedures, or post-acute care requirements Respond promptly to emergency situations including Level I Trauma Center or Level II Trauma Center scenarios, utilizing basic life support skills and emergency protocols Assist with transfers and positioning using equipment such as Hoyer lifts while maintaining patient safety and comfort Skills Proven experience working in long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals (including ICU, PICU, or emergency medicine), or nursing homes Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient care procedures including catheter care and vital signs monitoring Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate documentation Ability to handle complex cases involving infectious disease care, dementia care, hospice support, or behavioral health challenges Experience with medication administration and basic life support certification is highly desirable Skilled in working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized attention Excellent caregiving skills combined with compassionate communication tailored to diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics This role is perfect for motivated CNAs eager to expand their expertise across various healthcare settings while making a positive impact on residents' lives during overnight hours.
