Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Nurse Director to lead our Assisted Living community with passion and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Your leadership will foster a positive environment for both residents and staff, promoting high standards of nursing excellence and operational efficiency. This position offers weekly pay and provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant assisted living setting. Responsibilities Lead and manage nursing staff, including supervising nurses, caregivers, and support personnel to ensure optimal performance and resident satisfaction Develop, review, and update personalized care plans for residents, ensuring they meet individual needs and comply with regulatory standards Oversee documentation review, medical records management, and ensure accurate record-keeping using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect resident privacy and confidentiality at all times Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care, including hospice care, home health, and acute care services when needed Monitor shift management to ensure proper staffing levels, smooth operations, and timely response to resident needs Review medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and care documentation to maintain high-quality nursing practices Maintain familiarity with Medicare regulations and assist in audits or inspections related to healthcare funding On Call as needed Experience Proven management or supervising experience within assisted living facilities or nursing homes Extensive nursing background with experience in assisted living, home health, hospice care, or acute care environments Strong knowledge of nursing administration principles, including care plans, documentation review, and medical records management Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient data entry and record keeping Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams Experience working within HIPAA guidelines while managing sensitive medical information Knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance standards relevant to long-term care settings Excellent understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to elderly or chronically ill residents Join us in leading a compassionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents through exceptional nursing care.
