Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a positive experience for patients and their families while supporting the medical team with essential caregiving duties. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring timely communication of changes to the healthcare team. Support medication administration under supervision, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols. Prepare patient rooms, assist with feeding, and ensure a clean, safe environment in compliance with aseptic techniques. Use EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems to document patient information clearly and efficiently for accurate medical records management. Operate specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer or reposition patients with mobility challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care settings like ICU or emergency departments, providing vital support in high-pressure situations. Engage with patients who have developmental disabilities, dementia, or are receiving hospice or memory care services to foster trust and comfort. Skills Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals (Level I Trauma Center experience preferred), nursing homes, or outpatient clinics. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques necessary for safe patient care. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate documentation. Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures and basic life support (BLS) certification is highly desirable. Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, behavioral health needs or disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages—including pediatrics—and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of infection control practices relevant to infectious disease care and hospital medicine settings. Join us in delivering compassionate care that truly makes a difference! $18.50 - $25.50 per hour
