Hiring for the following shifts: 7am-7pm (day shift) 7pm-7am (night shift)

FULL TIME

Shift Differential 3pm-7am $2.00 per hour Weekend Shift Differential $1.00 per hour

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant to join our nursing home team. Certified Nurse Assistant Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist nursing home residents with ADL's including dressing, showering, grooming, mobility (transferring), etc. Serve meals to nursing home residents. Help them eat and drink when necessary. Assist residents with personal care after meals. Record patient eating habits and care in Point Click Care. Report changes in the resident's health to a nurse. Routinely reposition and turn nursing home residents sometimes as often as every 2 hours. Provide adequate hydration to residents at regular intervals each day according to specific resident needs. Assist residents who need help walking. Assist nursing home residents with showers including changing bedding after a shower. Transfer (mobility) nursing home residents according to care plan whether with a gait belt or lift while following safety precautions. Complete charting in Point Click Care before leaving at the end of shift. Observe residents (behaviors, skin issues, etc.) and report changes to the nurse. Assist nursing staff with the basics of aseptic and sterile techniques to avoid infection of resident and self-contamination of equipment and supplies. Attend in-service education programs in order to meet facility educational requirements. Protect residents from neglect, mistreatment and abuse. Other tasks as directed by the supervisor (nurse). Communicate professionally with staff, residents, families, superiors, and government representatives. Certified Nurse Assistant Job Requirements and Qualifications CNA certification in TN High level of patience, empathy, and compassion Excellent observation and communication skills Basic computer skills Walking, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and grasping, throughout shift. Lifting 1-10lbs continuously, 11-20lbs frequently, 21-50lbs frequently, 51lbs + occasionally. Display professionalism both in appearance and in attitude.
