Certified Nurse Aide, A6 Skilled Nursing - North Hendrick Health - 3.6 Abilene, TX Job Details Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Safe work practices Collaborate with healthcare professionals CPR Certification Phone communication Maintaining patient confidentiality BLS Certification HIPAA No experience needed Assisting with ADLs High school diploma or GED Basic life support Data entry Public relations CNA Cardiovascular patient monitoring Communication skills Patient personal care assistance Entry level Full Job Description Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) provide personal care; health-related services; and assist with activities of daily living. CNAs function under the direction; instruction and supervision of nursing staff. They attend to those who are being treated to manage illness and/or recovering from a procedure or surgical intervention. CNAs working/floating to PCU; IMCU or CCU units provide care for primarily adult patients who require cardiac monitoring. CNAs have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities; surveys; improvement initiatives and continuing education.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education High School or equivalent Minimum Work Experience No previous experience Required Licenses/Certifications CPR-BLS Certified Nurse Aide Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities Input data into computer programs Communication and public relation skills. Obtain manual or electronic Vital Signs. Work with therapeutic equipment. Answers telephones. Collaborate care with nurses and report patient concerns timely. Ability to follow safety guidelines. Ensures excellent time and attendance. Ability to handle confidential information and following HIPAA Compliance. Maintain professional appearance at all times.
