POSITION and is ONLY for
NON-CERTIFIED CNA
Training Program Participants.
TRAINING PROGRAM DISCLOSURE
Dates and times of the CNA Training Program will be disclosed at the time of approval is granted to participate in the CNA Training Program.
CNA TRAINING INSTRUCTION
CNA training will be conducted by Susie Powell, RN, Certified CNA Instructor and CPR Instructor.
POSITION SUMMARY
Stonewall Living Center is seeking motivated, career-minded individuals with genuine compassion for the elderly to participate in our on-site CNA Training Program. This program prepares individuals for CNA certification while promoting professionalism, respect, teamwork, and quality resident care.
CNA TRAINING PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
On-site classroom and clinical instruction during scheduled CNA classes Must be able to sit, focus, and actively participate in a classroom setting Must conduct oneself in a respectful, professional manner toward instructors and classmates Attendance and completion of the CNA Training Program are required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist residents with activities of daily living as permitted during training Provide compassionate, respectful, and dignified care to elderly residents Observe residents and report changes in conditions to nursing staff Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning Maintain a safe, clean, and organized resident environment Support residents emotional, mental, and social well-being Follow care plans, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures Work cooperatively with staff, instructors, and fellow trainees

Upon successful completion of the CNA Training Program, participants may apply for available CNA positions at Stonewall Living Center based on performance, attendance, and facility needs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching Ability to assist with resident transfers and respond to emergencies
MENTAL & EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to remain calm and professional in emotionally demanding situations Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Effective communication and interpersonal skills Emotional maturity, patience, and compassion toward the elderly
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be motivated, career-minded, and compassionate toward the elderly Must provide two (2) forms of acceptable identification Must pass background check, health screening, and required testing Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required Must be dependable, hardworking, stable attendance with good hygiene
