Position Summary Zollege is seeking dedicated, hands-on CNA Program Instructors to join our faculty team in Austin, TX. Instructors will play a key role in delivering classroom, lab, and clinical instruction for the Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) program, ensuring students gain the clinical competence, confidence, and professional readiness to excel in healthcare settings.

This role is ideal for licensed nurses passionate about teaching and mentoring future CNAs, who bring real-world clinical experience and a strong commitment to student success. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging instruction for assigned courses within the CNA curriculum (didactic, lab, and clinical). Supervise students in skills labs and clinical settings, ensuring safety, professionalism, and competency. Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, grades, and student progress. Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and academic support to students throughout the program. Prepare lesson plans, demonstrations, and assessments aligned with course outcomes. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and other faculty to refine course content and maintain alignment with program goals. Participate in faculty meetings, training, and curriculum improvement initiatives. Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment consistent with Zollege's mission and values. Required Qualifications Current, unencumbered Texas nursing license (RN). At least one year of nursing experience in a facility providing long-term care services as an RN. Passionate about helping students grow and develop into best-in-class healthcare professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide students. Comfortable with technology, including use of a learning management system (LMS) and simulation tools. Committed to professional ethics, regulatory compliance, and continuous learning. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing or related field, or higher Completion of a course in teaching adults OR experience teaching adults OR experience supervising nurse aides. Experience teaching in a vocational, community college, or private postsecondary nursing program. Familiarity with Texas Board of Nursing education standards and CNA program compliance. Experience with simulation-based instruction or hybrid learning models. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
