Full-Time Restorative Aide - In-House Rehab | Beaumont, TX Focused Post Acute Care Partners (FPACP) is a dynamic company with an expectation of excellence in the delivery of long-term care to every patient every day. We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Restorative Aide to join our in-house rehabilitation team at Focused Care at Summer Place. At FPACP, our mission is rooted in compassion and excellence.

Position Summary The Restorative Aide is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living and restorative care programs designed to maintain or improve their level of functioning, independence, and overall well-being. This position works closely with the rehab and nursing teams to support resident care and safety.
Reports To:
Rehab Director Key Responsibilities Assist residents with restorative and daily living activities to promote independence and dignity Safely lift, move, position, and transfer residents as required Assist residents with ambulation, range of motion exercises, and restorative programs Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs in a timely, compassionate manner Observe residents and report any unusual findings or concerns to the Charge Nurse Assist with feeding residents as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents, visitors, and staff Follow all safety procedures and Universal Precautions to protect residents and team members Safely utilize equipment and immediately report equipment needing repair or service Participate in emergency preparedness drills, in-services, and required trainings Utilize electronic medical record documentation systems, including PointClickCare Promote positive communication and professional interactions with residents, families, and staff Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification required Must be in good standing with the Texas Nursing Assistant Registry and Nurse Aide Misconduct Registry Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English Strong communication, teamwork, and resident care skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions Physical Requirements Ability to safely push, pull, lift, bend, kneel, crouch, and transfer residents with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and assist with resident transfers exceeding 150 pounds with assistance or equipment as needed Ability to tolerate standing, walking, and physical activity throughout scheduled shifts Work Schedule Schedule may include weekends, evenings, and holidays based on facility needs.
