As a CMA, you will play an important role in partnering with our nursing team to provide high-quality care in a supportive and team-oriented environment. Why Join Our Team Daily Pay - Access Your Pay When You Need It Competitive Compensation Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with Employer Contributions Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays Company-Paid Life Insurance Supportive Leadership & Team-Oriented Environment Opportunities for Growth & Advancement What You'll Do Medication Administration Administer medications accurately according to physician orders and facility policies Follow the Five Rights of Medication Administration Observe residents for medication effectiveness and report concerns promptly Accurately document medication administration and resident responses Maintain medication cart organization, cleanliness, and security Resident Care Support Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Monitor and report changes in resident's condition to the licensed nurse Measure and record vital signs as assigned Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights Promote resident dignity, comfort, and independence Teamwork & Compliance Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and facility safety standards Participate in shift reports and team communication What We're Looking For Current Texas Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification (required) Current CNA certification preferred/required per state regulations Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred Strong attention to detail and medication accuracy Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong communication and customer service skills What Makes You a Great Fit You are resident-focused and compassionate You understand the importance of safe medication administration You thrive in a team-oriented environment You are dependable, organized, and attentive to detail At Cleveland Health Care Center, our caregivers make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents every single day.
