Responsibilities Conduct patient intake by gathering medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) efficiently and accurately. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assist clinicians in assessing patient health. Assist with clinical procedures including medication administration, wound care, and basic life support (BLS) protocols. Support physicians and nurses during examinations, procedures, and treatments. Document medical information precisely using medical terminology and ICD coding standards to ensure compliance and accurate billing. Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments, coordinating follow-ups, and providing exceptional patient service in both English and Spanish. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols. Experience Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and patient management. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures. Prior clinic experience settings is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to serve diverse patient populations. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality patient care.
