CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant / Scheduler

Job Summary:

paid out quarterly for first year on team. Legend Healthcare & Rehabilitation Paris, located in Paris, TX, is currently looking for a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and support in various healthcare settings such as behavioral health, home care, clinics, critical care, and pediatrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in patient service, patient care, and be knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any deviations from normal to the healthcare team.
• Support patients in their treatment plans and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized patient environment.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Schedule for all staff and take on-call phone.
• Fill shifts as needed.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Familiarity with pediatric care is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of compassion and professionalism.
