CNA/ Scope Washer

San Antonio Endoscopy Center is hiring a Full Time CNA/ Scope Washer! Welcome to San Antonio Endoscopy Center! San Antonio Endoscopy Center, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated CNA/scope washer to join our esteemed team. As a CNA/ scope washer, you will play a vital role in upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement. CNA/ Scope Washer at San Antonio Endoscopy Center Responsible for rendering professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN management procedures within the surgical center in accordance with established procedures. Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff, exhibiting teamwork characteristics. Prepares equipment and anticipates Physician and patient needs for GI procedures. Provides general maintenance of the clinical area and equipment. Oversees the GI procedures and maintains all aspects of the GI procedure area. Assessing patients prior to procedure. Document intra-procedure notes. Assist physician on all GI procedures. Prepares and maintains equipment and supplies in the GI procedure area. Cleans and maintains equipment per Center policy. Assists in Preop and Recovery with turning over bays, discharging patients, basic patient assistance and stocking Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent Medical assistant certification Certification in Operating Room Technology a plus Current BLS required ACLS preferred Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to the OR and GI Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly Must be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy operating room & GI lab environment Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal
