In this vital role, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to residents in a long-term care environment, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities while working in a dynamic, supportive setting. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Support residents during meals by meal preparation, feeding assistance, and ensuring proper nutrition intake Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident rooms and common areas Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans and ensure consistent quality of care Requirements Valid CNA certification with current state licensing or registration Prior experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory support techniques Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Ability to perform first aid procedures confidently and respond effectively in emergency situations Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation purposes Strong interpersonal skills to connect compassionately with residents and team members Physical ability to lift residents safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts and perform routine mobility assistance Valid driver's license preferred for driving responsibilities related to resident outings or appointments Join us in delivering exceptional senior care through compassionate support, skilled caregiving, and dedicated teamwork.
