The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. The Nursing Assistant will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient health, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all patients. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to quality patient care are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. Assist with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and concerns. Support patients with memory care or dementia-related challenges by providing compassionate companionship. Administer medications as directed by nursing staff while adhering to safety protocols. Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to caregiving and patient service. Experience Candidates should possess the following experience or skills: Previous experience in critical care settings or long-term care environments is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge is beneficial. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer's care is a plus. Proficiency in using EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner for medical documentation is desirable. Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and vital sign monitoring is advantageous. Experience in various healthcare settings including hospitals (Level I & II trauma centers), outpatient clinics, urgent care facilities, hospice care, geriatrics, pediatrics, or behavioral health is valuable. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to caregiving are a plus. Compensation:

Starting at $28/ visit (mileage is included in pay).

Details:

Flexible and you can make your own schedule We are looking to hire a PRN CNA (around 6-10 visits/week) to cover the Utah county area. You must live in the state of UT and be near Utah county for this position. You will be traveling around the Utah County area.
