Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility. Provide support with transfers and mobility equipment as trained, ensuring comfort and safety at all times. Observe and report any changes in a client's condition , documenting updates clearly and accurately according to agency guidelines. Offer compassionate support to individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer's , using redirection, reassurance, and other appropriate memory‑care techniques. Prepare meals, assist with feeding when needed, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment . Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, tidying, and general household upkeep. Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement in meaningful daily activities to promote overall well‑being. Maintain client privacy and uphold all confidentiality and compliance standards while delivering respectful, person‑centered care. Qualifications Qualifications & What We're Looking For Valid HHA or PCA Certificate required for all caregiving roles. Experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care is preferred, but we welcome dedicated caregivers eager to grow. Familiarity with basic medical terminology , client care routines, and clear documentation practices is helpful. Compassionate and patient caregiver with experience supporting individuals with disabilities, developmental challenges, or cognitive impairments . Able to work independently or as part of a team , adapting to different home environments and client needs. Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks, including assisting with transfers , supporting mobility, and remaining on your feet for extended periods.

Pay:

$17.50 - $20.00 per hour
