Job Summary:
The Nurse Aide assists with basic patient care activities.
Responsibilities:
Assists with procedures/plan of care prescribed by a Registered Nurse (RN). Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport. Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions ff. Performs light housekeeping duties. Provides for patients psychosocial and spiritual needs & special conditions. Develops & maintains cooperative and therapeutic relationships with residents, families and other staff Responds to patient needs and responds to patient safety concerns promptly
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
Required Credential(s): Home Health Aides, Nurses' Aides and Certified Nurse Aides. Companions with no certifications must have at least 2 years' experience
Education & Experience:
HS or Equivalent Previous experience as a CNA is preferred
