Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Hampton, VA We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team in Hampton . The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to patients while assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional services. Position Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients in a professional and respectful manner. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning. Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients. Document care provided according to agency or facility policies. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families. Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality guidelines. Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare team members. Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia. High school diploma or equivalent. Current CPR certification preferred. Previous healthcare or caregiving experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care. Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients safely. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license if travel is required.
