As Needed Vinson Hall (VH), a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community located in McLean, VA, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Memory Care team. This position will primarily support residents in Memory Care while also assisting in other departments as needed. The ideal candidate enjoys working with older adults, is patient and attentive, and is committed to providing high-quality care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Must have a valid Virginia CNA license CPR certification preferred 1-2 years of CNA experience preferred, particularly in a geriatric or long-term care setting Strong knowledge of bedside nursing care and protocols Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Primary Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Aid with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety. Monitor vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes to the nursing staff. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and changes in residents' health. Assist with restorative and rehabilitative activities as directed. Ensure cleanliness and organization in resident rooms and common areas. Uphold residents' privacy, dignity, and rights according to HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
