Now Hiring: PCA / CNA Caregivers Virginia Beach Area

Position Overview We are currently looking for reliable, compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to support clients with daily living activities in the Virginia Beach area. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing quality care, companionship, and hands-on assistance in home and community-based settings. Key Responsibilities Working in accordance with individualized care plans and under the supervision of a Nurse Manager, duties include: Offering companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes Assisting with mobility needs such as transfers, walking support, and wheelchair assistance Helping with meal-related tasks including planning, grocery shopping, and preparation Providing personal care such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance Performing light housekeeping duties and laundry Giving reminders and support for self-administered medications Tracking and reporting fluid intake/output and observing changes in client condition Accompanying clients to medical appointments and running essential errands Documentation & Communication Accurately record daily care activities using an electronic timekeeping system Immediately report any concerns regarding a client's health, behavior, or safety to supervisory staff Participate in ongoing training, including 12 hours of annual continuing education and quarterly staff meetings Ideal Candidate Profile We are seeking individuals who are compassionate, dependable, and respectful in all interactions. The ideal caregiver demonstrates patience, professionalism, and a strong commitment to client well-being and confidentiality. Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of caregiving practices, especially for older adults Experience supporting individuals with dementia or memory-related conditions preferred Basic proficiency with phone and email communication Understanding of relevant state healthcare guidelines Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work in varied environments, including private homes and assisted living facilities Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position is performed in client homes or care facilities. The role is physically active and may involve lifting up to 250 lbs with assistance, as well as frequent standing, bending, and mobility support tasks. This is an in-person role only and not eligible for remote work. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent required Active PCA certification or CNA license At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, active auto insurance, and current TB clearance
