Job Description

Overview Puget Sound Work Injury Clinic is seeking a dependable, compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our occupational medicine clinic in Bremerton, WA. We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, values teamwork, and is willing to assist in both front and back office duties to help support the clinic and patient care experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity. This position plays an important role in helping our clinic provide organized, attentive, and compassionate care to injured workers and other patients. You'll be the vital link in delivering exceptional patient service while supporting medical staff with essential clinical and administrative duties. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting comprehensive medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assist clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by updating patient information, ICD coding for diagnoses, and documenting treatment notes clearly. Following up to obtain chart notes and records from outside providers. Restocking and maintaining exam rooms and supplies. Assisting with front office and back office duties as needed. Supporting providers and staff with day-to-day clinic operations. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Valid certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), with relevant state licensure where applicable. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Strong communication skills for effective patient service, intake interviews, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred. Occupational medicine experience is a plus, but not required. $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
