Program Director Job Summary:

Performing vitals and assisting with medication administration, constant monitoring of patients' health and well-being during the Detox and Treatment process, reporting relevant physical and psychological events to the nursing and counseling staff, and ensuring as comfortable an experience as possible for all Detox and Residential clients.

Qualifications:

CNA certification. Previous experience with mental health/substance abuse preferred.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form, use a computer keyboard, physically perform all necessary job functions and actively travel throughout the facility.

Work Environment:

Must be able to work independently; work and communicate with other professionals in an effective and professional manner; must have appropriate time management skills and meet required deadlines; be able to work under stressful conditions. Assures that all ABHS' clients' needs are met with dignity and respect and in a timely manner. Makes decisions based on the welfare of the client, the success of the team, and the quality and integrity of the program. Understands and facilitates federal confidentiality laws, 42 CFR, and protects client confidentiality/anonymity, and assures no information is shared without proper authorization. Ensures compliance to contractual obligations, ABHS policies, and State statues (WACs).
