The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting with their daily activities and medical needs. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Help patients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by nursing staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas. Document patient care activities accurately in medical records systems. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates on patient status. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times. Support nursing staff in various tasks within the skilled nursing facility. Qualifications Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as PCC is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices is essential. Experience working in skilled nursing facility. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program is required. Must be able to pass background checks as mandated by healthcare regulations.
