Job Description

This is a Tuesday - Saturday midshift position. The candidate must already have their CNA or HCA license through the state. Pay for this position is $25.00 - $26.00 per hour. Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including group homes and long-term care facilities. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any side effects or changes in condition. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate records of patient care, including vital signs and behavioral observations. Ensure that resident rights are respected and upheld at all times. Provide first aid as necessary and respond promptly to any medical emergencies. Support residents in maintaining their dignity and independence while providing compassionate care. Assist with lifting and transferring residents safely using proper techniques. Requirements Previous experience in a group home or long-term care setting is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration procedures and care plan development. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong understanding of patient care principles, resident rights, and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physical ability to lift patients and assist with mobility tasks as needed. A genuine passion for providing quality care to individuals in need.
