Emergency Room General CNA - Part-Time, Night-Shift Othello Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This Part-Time, Night-Shift position offers the opportunity to work in our emergency room , providing essential patient care and support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Emergency Room (ER)

Schedule:

24hrs/Per Pay Period, (6:00pm-6:30am), Nights, Every other Tuesday & Wednesday.

Status:

Part-Time; (benefit not eligible)

Wage Range:

$19.77 - $35.81/hour (plus shift differentials)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer processes Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output Provide basic patient care including hygiene, mobility assistance, and comfort measures Support nursing and medical staff with procedures and patient care tasks Maintain clean and stocked patient care areas Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members Ensure accurate documentation and communication across departments Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations Responsible to Charge Nurse onsite

QUALIFICATIONS

Current Washington State CNA certification required BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or equivalent) Minimum 6 months of CNA experience , Previous experience in ER, AC, or OB settings preferred but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Familiarity with medical terminology and infection control practices
