Family Best Care is hiring a reliable caregiver for an ongoing in-home care assignment in Seabeck, Washington. This role is a good fit for a caregiver who enjoys consistent work, clear routines, and providing dependable care for one client. The client needs memory care support, assistance with daily routines, companionship, safety monitoring, meals, light housekeeping related to care, and support with activities of daily living as needed. We are looking for a caregiver who is reliable, professional, communicative, patient, and comfortable supporting a client with memory care needs. Strong documentation, timely communication with the office, and the ability to follow the care plan closely are important for this assignment. Schedule This is a specific ongoing client assignment.
Required availability:
Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Thursday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Applicants must be available for the listed schedule. Shift times are based on client care needs and must be worked as assigned. Location The client is located in Seabeck, Washington. Applicants should review the location before applying and make sure they are able to reliably commute to and from the client's home for each scheduled shift. Reliable transportation, punctuality, and consistent attendance are required. Care Responsibilities Assist with activities of daily living Support bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene care as needed Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention Provide calm redirection and reassurance when needed Support the client's daily routine and help maintain structure throughout the shift Prepare meals and encourage hydration and nutrition as appropriate Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement Monitor for safety concerns, changes in condition, or changes in behavior Complete light housekeeping related to the client's care Support appointments, errands, or community activities as needed Follow the care plan and complete accurate care documentation Communicate client updates, concerns, and schedule needs to the office promptly The ideal caregiver is someone who: Has experience or comfort supporting clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care needs Is calm, patient, and consistent in their approach Understands the importance of routine, dignity, and respectful communication Can provide gentle redirection when the client is confused or unsettled Is attentive to fall risks, safety concerns, and changes in condition Communicates clearly with the office and documents care accurately Follows the care plan and accepts care direction professionally Maintains strong attendance and arrives on time for scheduled shifts Provides dependable, high quality care in the client's home Pay and Benefits Pay:
$24/hour Overtime paid at 1.5x, when applicable Holiday pay for company recognized holidays, when applicable Health insurance available for caregivers who consistently work 35 or more hours per week Ongoing client assignment when available Support from a responsive office team Requirements Active Washington HCA, CNA, or NAC credential Current TB test or screening Current CPR certification Current Food Worker Card Valid government issued photo ID Reliable transportation to and from shifts Reliable phone access for work related communication Ability to complete onboarding documents if selected Availability for the listed schedule Comfort supporting a client with memory care needs Qualified applicants who meet the credential, availability, reliability, communication, and onboarding requirements will be contacted for the next step in the hiring process.
