Your primary role is to deliver routine daily nursing care and services, ensuring each resident feels valued and comfortable. You'll be an essential part of a lively community where every day brings new opportunities to make a difference! Shifts Available PRN Essential Duties Brighten residents' days by greeting them with a smile and ensuring their comfort! Use the wristband or photo card file to identify residents before administering treatments or serving meals—because everyone deserves personalized care! Keep an eye out for any changes in residents' conditions and report them to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as needed. Record all entries in an informative, descriptive manner, helping us provide the best possible care. Create a warm atmosphere by reporting any accidents or incidents, ensuring a safe environment for everyone. Respect and protect residents' privacy by keeping their information confidential—trust is key! Perform nursing care procedures you've been trained in, and always be ready to lend a helping hand! Prepare residents' rooms to welcome them warmly—bed made, name tags up, and an admission kit at the ready. Introduce residents to their new home, roommates, and friendly staff to make them feel right at home. Keep things cheerful by helping residents with their personal possessions and ensuring everything is neatly stored. Transport residents to new rooms or receiving areas, adding a bit of fun to the process! Collaborate with your shift's nursing personnel to create a dynamic and supportive team atmosphere. Participate in and contribute to nursing reports, sharing ideas to enhance resident care. Assist residents with daily functions and activities, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and care. Engage with residents during mealtimes, helping them navigate their meals and encouraging healthy eating habits. Keep residents' water pitchers fresh and filled—hydration is key! Participate in after-meal care with kindness, ensuring residents feel clean and comfortable. Report any issues or concerns so we can continue to improve and provide the best care possible. Make every interaction count—whether it's helping residents get ready for medical tests or assisting with personal care, your efforts matter! Stay observant and report any skin concerns or injuries, ensuring all residents stay healthy and happy. Be a reliable team member by notifying the facility if you'll be late or absent, fostering a culture of communication and support. Maintain a fun and friendly environment, celebrating the little moments that bring joy to our residents! Supervisory Requirements This position has no supervisory responsibilities, but your positive attitude can lead the way! Qualifications Education and/or Experience Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th-grade education. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. You'll also be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals with ease! Mathematical Skills Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems in a fun and collaborative way, dealing with a variety of situations as they arise. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws. CPR certification is preferred. You'll occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, stay active throughout the day, and engage with residents regularly. $22.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experience and education. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.Job Types:
