FD Position Overview:
The Front Desk plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for clients, visitors, and staff. This position serves as the first point of contact at Haven Treatment Center and is responsible for front office operations including reception, check-in/check-out procedures, appointment scheduling, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a warm, courteous attitude while maintaining strict confidentiality in a behavioral healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist clients, families, visitors, and vendors in a professional, compassionate manner Manage front desk operations including client check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in the electronic medical system Answer and route incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages appropriately Ensure waiting and reception areas are clean, stocked, and welcoming Verify insurance eligibility, collect payments, and issue receipts in accordance with policy Monitor client traffic and visitor logs for safety and security purposes Support administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and document processing Communicate effectively with clinical, administrative, and support teams to ensure seamless operations Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or healthcare admin coursework preferred 1-2 years of front desk, administrative, or customer service experience (preferably in a healthcare setting) Strong computer skills and typing speed of 40+ WPM Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment Professional appearance and demeanor with a client-centered attitude Background in mental health or healthcare setting strongly preferred

Must pass a TB test, background check, and drug screening prior to employment Must pass EHR/EMR Tebra training within 30 days of orientation Must have
CNA Certification Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
