Job Description

Nursing Assistant Job Description Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with nursing staff in a dynamic healthcare environment, contributing to the overall care of residents. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff. Assist with mobility-walking, transferring (e.g. bed to chair) repositing in bed safely. Assisting residents with oral care and other personal hygiene needs. Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times. Ensure cleanliness and safety of resident environments by following infection control protocols. Skills Experience in senior living community preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Washington (active and in good standing) Knowledge of proper body mechanics and safe transfer techniques Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Ability to recognize and report changes in resident condition promptly. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
