Weekend Lead Float Role This is a senior-level weekend position providing structured coverage and on-call field support during designated float weekends.

Weekend Coverage Schedule Coverage Window:

Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 8:00

AM Rotating Schedule:

One weekend on / one weekend off Approximately two float weekends per month Opportunity to pick up additional weekday shifts if desired On-Call Expectations During your assigned float weekend, you must: Remain available within the coverage window Respond to urgent call-offs or coverage needs Travel to client homes within a reasonable timeframe Communicate promptly with the Fathers Heart office Provide stability for higher-acuity or complex cases Scheduled shifts are provided in advance when possible but may adjust due to client needs. Compensation $150 stipend per designated float weekend (earned for remaining available Friday 5PM - Monday 8:00AM) $20-$25 per hour for all hours worked Mileage reimbursement between client homes Additional premium pay for extended or urgent shifts Responsibilities Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Perform safe mechanical lift transfers (Hoyer/ceiling lifts) Prepare meals and support healthy nutrition Monitor client condition and report changes promptly Support with medications per care plan Provide companionship and cognitive engagement Maintain a clean and safe home environment Document care accurately in agency systems Requirements Experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home, or similar setting CNA preferred; CPR & First Aid required Strong experience with mechanical lifts Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and insurance Strong communication and observation skills Ability to safely perform physical caregiving tasks Professional, dependable, and compassionate Ability to work with clients who have pets or make smoke in-home.
