We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a skilled nursing and long-term care facility. The CNA plays a key role in supporting residents with daily living needs, promoting dignity and comfort, and ensuring high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and eating. Assist residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and the use of assistive devices following proper safety techniques. Take and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other clinical data as directed. Observe residents' conditions and report any changes in physical, emotional, or behavioral status to nursing staff. Support residents with comfort measures, personal hygiene, and overall well-being. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Assist nurses and therapists during treatments and therapy sessions as needed. Promote a clean, safe, and homelike environment; follow infection control and safety protocols at all times. Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Actively participate in resident care plans and carry out assigned tasks professionally and consistently. Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice. Listed in good standing on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry (if WI position). Prior experience in long-term care or post-acute settings preferred but not required. Ability to lift, move, and support residents safely. Strong communication, compassion, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to resident-centered care and professionalism.
