Developmental Group Home Manager (Female with 1 year Management Required)

Job Description The Group Home Manager is responsible for the overall management of one residential Group Home serving individuals with Developmental Disabilities. This person is also responsible for ensuring that programs are implemented properly to meet the individual health care and safety needs of residents. The ideal candidates will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of life in the group home along with staff Schedule and attend medical, dental, and psych appointments Participate in annual ISP, Med, and 90-day review meetings Supervision and training of staff of 10-15 employees Ensure home is clean, safe, and maintained Abide by, enforce, and participate in the implementation and on-going oversight of all policies and procedures, and safety standards and regulations Available to be on call to assist staff with emergency situations Requirements Must be Female 21 years or older Associate Degree or higher (in related field) preferred Knowledge of or skills applicable to working with individuals with developmentally disabilities Must have a current AZ drivers license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record Must maintain current training certifications in CPR, First Aid, Article 9 and Prevention & Support Have a non-restricted Level I fingerprint clearance card from the AZ Department of Public Safety At least one year of experience in a direct care position is required At least one year of supervisory experience in field preferred Must be a team player and able to complete job requirements with minimal supervision
