Job Description
Group Home Manager Full-Time | 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM $17.20 - $18.00 per hour Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential group home serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and structured environment while promoting independence and dignity for all residents.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the group homes Supervise and support residents with daily living activities Ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations Maintain accurate documentation and resident records Manage medications, and administer medications according to policy. Coordinate and communicate with families, healthcare providers, and support teams Transport residents to doctor's appointments, outings and day program Respond to emergencies and ensure resident safety Assist and supervise Direct Care Professionals Maintain availability by phone to communicate promptly with directors and staff as needed.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred) Demonstrated ability to read and write proficiently as required for job-related responsibilities. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Valid driver's license with a good driving record (required) Ability to safely transport residents to appointments and programs Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to pass background checks and required screeningsPhysical Requirements:
