Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Group Home Manager to lead and oversee operations within a community-based residential setting dedicated to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care while fostering a safe, supportive, and empowering environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, operational expertise, and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of residents through effective management and compassionate supervision. Responsibilities Lead daily operations of the group home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies. Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or memory support. Supervise staff members, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to promote a motivated and skilled team. Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and adherence to prescribed treatments. Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining quality care. Foster positive relationships with residents' families, healthcare providers, and community resources to support residents' well-being. Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents within the home. Requirements Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or group home settings working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong background in senior care, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or memory support services. Demonstrated management skills with supervising teams in long-term care or home & community care settings. Knowledge of care planning processes and familiarity with medication administration protocols. Excellent organizational skills with experience in operations management and budgeting. Compassionate leadership style combined with strong communication skills to engage residents, staff, and families effectively. Valid credentials in nursing or social work are preferred; relevant certifications in caregiving or management are advantageous. $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
