This position will be responsible for building census while managing the day to day operations. We are looking for a candidate that is self-determined, has experience in the senior living industry, and has the proven ability to build strong internal teams and lasting referral & resident relationships. •Must have current Arizona Assisted Living Manager certification•Competitive Salary based on Skill & Experience Position Summary The Executive Director/General Manager provides leadership and direction for overall facility operations to provide quality patient care in accordance with all laws, regulations, and company standards. Provides oversight of key areas including financial operations, human resources, customer service, business development, and clinical/care operations. Implements policies pertaining to patient care, care giving, and support staff, financial control, public relations, and maintenance of physical plant through consultation with the facility management team. Manages the budget to meet community needs and division goals in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards. The Executive Director drives community occupancy by managing the full sales process including outreach, CRM, weekly reports, event planning, and relationships with referral partners. Essential Functions Must ensure community is compliant with all Federal, State, and local requirements as well as serve as the community compliance liaison. Be present for state surveys and understand all laws and rules to ensure a positive outcome Must build census and operating the community simultaneously while generating leads Must have the ability to close a sale for a potential resident. Complete presentations and tours with prospects and subsequently close sales Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and professional referral sources in the area. Record all sales and marketing traffic in the CRM system and submit reports to the Corporate office Coordinate community advertising Must ensure community is clean and safe for the comfort, convenience and safety of patients, families, and staff Must serve as effective representative for company so our community is viewed as provider of choice Must prepare and operate within annual budget (approved by
COO & VPO
) Must effectively supervise team Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards residents Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team Understand process of the senior care continuum ALTCS knowledge a plus Provide expertise regarding admission paperwork and follow up on admission and move-in process. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Must pass background check in accordance with local law/regulations Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements Prefer a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Must be currently licensed as an Arizona Assisted Living Manager Nursing Home Administrator License or experience as an NHA a PLUS! Sales and Marketing experience 2+ years in Assisted Living or other Senior Living specialties. Leadership of 3+ years Understands financials and budgeting Three (3) or more years' successful Assisted Living Manager experience preferred License in good standing, complete and maintain all regulatory licensing requirements. Specific Job Requirements Working knowledge of sales and marketing concepts to include principles and methods for promoting, and selling products and/or services Understanding of marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales systems Experience and training in consultative selling skills is highly preferred Must be able to read and interpret financial records and reports Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the assisted living care facility Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: daily leadership responsibilities, supervisory responsibilities, financial responsibilities, regulatory compliance, patient rights, and safety and sanitation Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc. Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to our Company's Code of Conduct and completes required compliance training Working knowledge of personal computers and software to include Microsoft Office and lead management softwareBenefits:
