Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Living Executive Director specializing in Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE). This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the operations of a vibrant senior living community, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and services to residents. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for senior care, strong management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of long-term care regulations. As an energetic leader, you will motivate your team, foster a warm community environment, and ensure compliance with all health and safety standards. Your expertise in assisted living, memory care, and nursing home administration will drive the success of our community and enhance residents' quality of life. Duties Lead daily operations of the senior living community, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments Develop, implement, and oversee personalized care plans tailored to residents' needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulation policies related to long-term care facilities Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development Manage healthcare financials including budgeting, expense control, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency Foster a positive environment that promotes resident engagement, safety, and well-being Oversee medication administration procedures and ensure adherence to healthcare standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as nurses, social workers, and therapists to deliver comprehensive resident care Maintain detailed documentation on resident progress, incident reports, and regulatory compliance records Lead efforts in community outreach and building strong relationships with residents' families to ensure transparency and trust Experience Extensive assisted living experience with a focus on senior care environments such as retirement homes or group homes Proven nursing home administration experience with knowledge of long-term care regulations and healthcare policies Demonstrated leadership in managing teams within healthcare or senior living settings; supervisory experience required Strong background in nursing leadership or healthcare management with expertise in dementia and memory care programs Familiarity with healthcare financial management including budgeting, cost control, and resource planning Working knowledge of medication administration protocols and home & community care practices Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus but not mandatory Exceptional organizational skills coupled with social work insights to support resident-centered approaches Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while maintaining high standards of quality care Join us as we create vibrant communities where seniors thrive!
