Apply now!Responsibilities:
The Wellness Director is responsible for the day-to-day implementation, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care Services at the community - including scheduling, training, and managing of all Resident Services staff. Support Resident Services Staff Responsible for interviewing, making recommendations regarding wages, hiring, training, developing, directing, and evaluating the Resident Service staff in accordance with Atria guidelines. Supervise, develop, and schedule the resident services staff according to Atria's policies, procedures and standards. Organize and update in-service binder and manages the in-services calendar to schedule in-services. Provide support to frontline staff as needed. Schedule and supervise staff; available to cover staffing when needed. Operate the Resident Services Department within budget and according to community policies, procedures, and standards. Communicate scheduling to care staff and management in a clear and timely manner. Report all significant staffing issues to General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and the on-call Nurse immediately with proposed resolutions or support requests. Notify staff of schedule requirements and changes. Provide training and orientation to new assisted living staff members and ongoing training to current staff members. Partner with and otherwise assist the Memory Care Director in supervising, developing, and scheduling the staff according to community policies, procedures, and standards. Partner with the Memory Care Director in providing training and orientation to new assisted living staff members and ongoing training to current staff members. Routine collaboration with the Care Coordination Director regarding resident status and any change in condition. Provide verbal encouragement and support to the staff. Support the Community Participate in Resident Needs Reviews. Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services to residents as requests and needs change. May perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three (3)+ years of experience with business or healthcare office functions; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer proficiency. Experience in community health preferred. Experience in recruiting, training, and managing people in the healthcare field. Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. First Aid and CPR Certification if required by state law. Must be available to work flexible work hours due to demands of position.Salary Range:
