Job Description

Endura Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Nursing Home Administrator to join our dynamic team. This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified.

Pay:
$110,000-$140,000 annually. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Education and/or
Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree may be required depending on state regulations. A degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, a Therapy Discipline or other health care -related degree is preferred but not required. Requirements Proven experience in management within healthcare or educational administration environments with a focus on nursing or related fields. Strong background in strategic planning and budgeting to effectively oversee departmental resources. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive organizational success. Holds a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to skilled nursing facilities Must provide evidence of being free of tuberculosis infection upon hire and as set forth by the policies of the facility. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care. Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel. Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to Extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance processes.
Work Environment:
Works in office area(s) as well as throughout the nursing service area (i.e. nurse's stations, resident rooms, etc.). Moves intermittently during working hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Interacts with residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions and circumstances. Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel, and visitors. Communicates with the medical staff, nursing personnel, and other department supervisors. Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary. May be on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Is subject to call-back during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.). Is subject to injury from falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc., as well as to reactions from dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoke, and other air contaminants. Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including TB and the AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses. May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
