Bridgeport, CT About the Opportunity A Medicaid-focused home care agency serving Bridgeport and surrounding communities is seeking an experienced Administrator to oversee operations, compliance, staffing, and intake coordination. This role is well suited for a leader with knowledge of Connecticut Medicaid waivers, intake processes, and coordination with Area Agencies on Aging. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Operations Management- Oversee daily operations of the home care agency
- Manage caregiver staffing, scheduling, and client coverage
- Supervise office staff and care coordination teams
- Ensure services align with care plans and waiver authorizations Compliance and Waiver Oversight
- Ensure compliance with Connecticut Medicaid and DSS regulations
- Maintain adherence to HCBS waiver documentation standards
- Support audits, incident reporting, and quality assurance processes Intake and Referral Coordination
- Coordinate referrals from case management organizations and Area Agencies on Aging
- Support start-of-care processes and authorization alignment
- Communicate with clients, families, and referral partners Administrative and Financial Oversight
- Oversee billing, payroll approval, and authorization accuracy
- Track service utilization, staffing levels, and operational metrics
- Collaborate with leadership on growth and staffing strategies Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in home care or healthcare administration
- Strong understanding of Medicaid-funded home care services
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage intake-driven workflows and compliance requirements Preferred Experience
- Experience with Connecticut Medicaid waivers such as HCBS for Elders and PCA Waiver
- Familiarity with Connecticut DSS and Area Agencies on Aging
