Memory Care Director Charter Senior Living of Bristol -
Bristol, CT Pay:

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Memory Care Director to lead our Memory Care Neighborhood at our Bristol community. This leader will oversee daily operations, lead programming, develop staff, and ensure excellence in dementia care through our Flourish Memory Care philosophy . This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership environment , is passionate about Alzheimer's and dementia care , and can balance program development, team leadership, and regulatory compliance . What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) Lead day-to-day Memory Care operations and programming Champion and execute
Charter's Flourish Memory Care Programs :
Flourish Restore Flourish Enrich Flourish Connect Flourish Create Flourish Engage Flourish Contribute Develop and implement therapeutic life enrichment programming Train, coach, and support Memory Care staff and program assistants Partner with the Health & Wellness Director on resident care and service plans Ensure compliance with state regulations and company standards Manage and respond to behavioral challenges and care needs associated with dementia Educate and support families on Alzheimer's and dementia-related topics Support occupancy growth and retention through program excellence and family engagement What We're Looking For (Requirements) Minimum 3+ years experience working with seniors , including dementia care At least 1 year in a leadership or program management role preferred Experience leading life enrichment or memory care programming Strong knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias Proven ability to manage behavioral challenges and individualized care approaches Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Education & Certifications:
