180-Bed Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead operations for a well-established 180-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Newington. This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations, regulatory compliance, financial performance, resident satisfaction, and team development. The ideal candidate is a proven healthcare leader with strong operational expertise, a commitment to quality care, and the ability to foster a culture centered on compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities Direct day-to-day operations of a 180-bed skilled nursing facility Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Lead department heads and interdisciplinary teams to achieve operational and clinical goals Drive quality outcomes, resident satisfaction, occupancy growth, and staff retention Manage budgeting, census development, labor management, and financial performance Maintain readiness for state surveys and accreditation standards Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve facility performance Build strong relationships with residents, families, referral sources, and community partners Promote a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork and resident-centered care Qualifications Current Connecticut Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license required Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting Strong understanding of CMS regulations, reimbursement systems, and survey processes Demonstrated success in improving operational and financial performance Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills Stable work history with a record of successful facility management ```Similar jobs in Milford, CT
