SERVICES, Inc. 22 reviews From $61,776 a year - Full-time Job description Residential Management Services, Inc. (RMS) is looking for a qualified Group Home Manager in the Watertown area! RMS provides residential supports to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities. This is a full-time, salaried position (40 hours per week with additional hours as needed to fulfill job responsibilities) Duties include: Supporting and overseeing staff in learning about the interests, needs and skills of each person served through direct interaction, observation, insights of other staff team members, family members, etc. Supporting and overseeing the establishment of collaborative relationships with each person served, co- workers, family members and other people who are important in the individual's life. Supporting and overseeing the teaching of skills customized to each individual (daily living skills, self care, social skills, communication, etc.) within the daily routine. Works as a member of a team to ensure household cleanliness and safety standards are in full compliance with DDS and R.M.S. requirements. Supervising correct and accurate documentation. Oversees the monitoring of each individual during each shift to identify any changes in health status or other concerns. Physical assistance (bathing, toileting, showering) Qualifications Valid CT Driver's License, good driving record and available means of transportation Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field and 2 years' experience with the developmentally delayed Associate's Degree in Human Services field and 3 years' experience with the developmentally delayed Good communication skills, able to present information in a clear manner Knowledge of general computer use Experience working within a group home with developmentally disabled individuals Experience working in management R.M.S. is a private nonprofit Agency committed to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities through meaningful relationships and growth opportunities which forward and realize the ideals, sense of personal value, lasting happiness and life satisfaction of those served.
