Job Description

  • Full charge bookkeeper who is able to wear many hats
  • Manages construction accounting duties, including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, check disbursements, invoicing, financial reporting, Quickbooks payroll and job costing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Quickbooks
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions for multiple entities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Provide support during audits and assist in resolving any accounting discrepancies
  • Licensing and Insurance compliance. Liaison between company and external agencies and accountants.
  • Releases of lien and NTO's
  • Permitting
  • AIA Billing
  • Job cost reconciliations
  • Excel spreadsheets
  • General Administrative Duties
  • Customer Service
  • Proven experience in construction accounting and job costing
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Payroll
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience in the construction industry, the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. This person will be working directly with the principles of the firm and provide administrative support. It is also essential for you to be a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills.
