This position will facilitate the successful operation of the Residential Care Department. The Resident Services Director supervises other associates and coordinates Resident Care Programs to comply with state regulations.
Essential Functions:
Interview residents and families prior to admission and coordinate pre-admission screening and assessment. Evaluate resident care needs and determine the required level of care upon admission and changes in condition. Update medical charts and care plan. Order medications from pharmacy, maintain records, and ensure that medications are properly stored and cared for. Maintain records and files for residents, inventory, and supplies. Monitor associates in administration of mediation, including frequent audits of medication records.
Skill:
Must have a valid nursing license (LPN /LVN required) This position also requires 2-3 years of supervisory experience, prior care experience in an assisted living community or skilled nursing facility, and valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
