Group Home Manager

Bell Caring Services is in search for a strong, assertive, responsible, and hardworking group home manager for our (3) group homes located in the NPR, PR and Hudson areas. Bell Caring Services is a provider for Individuals with disabilities. They reside in our group homes. We value our clients and their needs. Full-time

• Experience is a must! Please have at least 1 year experience in same or similar work setting and management experience.
• Must have certified CPR/First Aid through the American Heart Association. If you do not, the course can be provided through the company at your expense.
• You are required to have a valid Medication Administration Certificate. If you do not, the course can be provided through the company at your expense.
• Background, both local and level 2 will be conducted.
• High school Diploma required.
• Bilingual (English, Spanish) preferred.

Must be able to speak, read, write English without difficulty.

Responsibilities:

Manage all 3 group homes; supervising the caregivers to ensure optimum environment for the consumers. Create group home schedules. Have strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task Assist with taking consumers to doctor appointments and/or outings utilizing company bus/van. Ensure that individuals are always engaged. Encourage individuals to participate in community activities. Maintain confidentiality of residents per HIPAA policy. Complete records and documentation (data collection, progress notes, medication administration records, etc.). Adhere to the training curriculum of Bell Caring Services Corp. Handle emergency situations per emergency procedures. Assist with creating meal menus for each group home. Communicate with consumer day program staff, supervisor and or management, and families in a professional and positive manner. Conduct or assist the Owner in all team meetings. Conduct monthly fire drills in each home Administer medication as needed.
