EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Rosewood at Fort Oglethorpe Assisted Living, Memory Care, & Personal Care Community Seeking a passionate leader with a servant's heart to manage Rosewood Assisted Living in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Must have great skills to manage and motivate team, operate and manage budget, and work to drive sales and increase revenue. Executive Director must operate community in accordance with its policies and procedures, mission, and philosophy. Lead and motivate employees in providing quality care and services to residents and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
General Management 1. Adhere to and implement residence policies and procedures. 2. Maintain a high level of occupancy. 3. Assist in the development of the residence's Budget 4. Operate the residence within the budget 5. Assist with the marketing of the residence including developing relations with local referral sources. 6. Prepare weekly and monthly reports as directed. 7. Maintain up-to-date and complete resident files in compliance with the state governing body. 8. Assume on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis and assign on-call responsibilities to other qualified directors. 9. Make final decision on resident move-ins and move-outs based on the well-being of the resident and in accordance with the residence policies and procedure and state regulatory compliance. Hiring, Supervising, and Training 1. Recruit, hire and supervise all management team and work with management to ensure proper hiring for department employees. Ensure adequate staffing in all departments. 2. Lead by example, encourage teamwork, promote the residence's philosophy, and provide ongoing coaching and education to all employees. 3. Motivate employees through recognition programs, training, and teambuilding. 4. Conduct regular performance appraisals with employees. 5. Provide an "open door" to employees, addressing any employee concerns or grievances. 6. Maintain a high level of employee satisfaction. 7. Ensure appropriate handling of on-the-job injuries as reported by employees. 8. Oversee and implement the training of all employees in accordance with residence policies, state, and federal regulations. 9. Ensure proper documentation for all training. Customer Service 1. Oversee the safety and well being of the residents in accordance with the residence's philosophy and standards of care. 2. Represent the residence to the community, family members, and visitors and develop positive relations with all customers. 3. Establish and maintain an open-door policy and a high level of ongoing communication with residents and their families. 4. Participate in a resident/family continue care meetings to review services and changes in care needs. 5. Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction. 6. Actively participate in providing service to residents. Physical requirements To fulfill job requirements, employee must be able to perform key physical task for extended periods of time. When supporting, lifting, or transferring residents, proper body mechanics and safety measures, as prescribed by the residence, must be used. In a typical eight-hour day, employee will: Stand/walk up to six hours a day Sit up for hours a day Occasionally support up to 50 pounds Occasionally lift/carry up to 15 pounds Occasionally kneel, bend, and reach Qualifications Bachelors Degree 3-5 years management experience in similar field Strong leadership skills Desire to work with older adults; compassion for families, residents & a passion for team building
