Assisted Living Executive Director

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Assisted Living Executive Director to lead our team in providing exceptional care for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, including experience in assisted living or nursing care. This role requires a leader who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our resident population and overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring high standards of care and service. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies regarding resident care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate medical services and medication administration. Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and staff to promote a positive community atmosphere. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and resource allocation. Lead initiatives to enhance resident engagement and community involvement. Provide support and guidance to staff in managing challenging behaviors associated with dementia and developmental disabilities. Experience Proven experience in assisted living or long-term care settings is required. Strong management skills with a focus on leadership and team development. Familiarity with operations management practices within the healthcare sector is preferred. Financial acumen related to budgeting and resource management is an asset. Previous experience in supervising staff within a healthcare environment.
