Job Description
Executive Director — Senior Living Seeking an Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations, team performance, resident experience, compliance, and financial outcomes. Key Responsibilities The Executive Director will be responsible for overall community leadership, including: Leading daily operations across assisted living services Building, coaching, and holding department leaders accountable Maintaining compliance with applicable state regulations and company standards Driving occupancy, revenue, labor management, and expense control Partnering with sales and clinical leadership to support move-ins, retention, and resident satisfaction Creating a strong culture of accountability, hospitality, and resident-centered care Ensuring strong communication with residents, families, associates, and regional leadership Overseeing hiring, performance management, training, and team engagement Identifying operational gaps and implementing practical solutions quickly Representing the community professionally in the local market Ideal Candidate Profile The strongest candidate will have: At least 3 years of Executive Director experience in Senior Living Proven experience managing community operations, staffing, compliance, and financial performance Strong knowledge of assisted living regulations and resident care expectations Ability to lead department heads and frontline teams with consistency and urgency Strong communication skills with residents, families, staff, and ownership/regional leadership A hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance compassion and accountability Comfort working in a performance-driven environment with clear operational expectations Compensation & Benefits This role offers a competitive compensation package, benefits, and the opportunity to lead a community with meaningful impact on residents, families, and team members.
