Job Description
Etowah Landing Care and Rehabilitation is looking for an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Salary is negotiable based on experience. $20,000.00 Sign on Bonus Nursing Experience/Background preferred. Etowah Landing is a Pyramid Healthcare facility located in picturesque Rome, Georgia. Our facility is a 100-bed center that provides care for short-term and long-term residents, including those requiring ventilator support, tracheostomy care, wound care, and rehabilitation services.
QUALIFICATIONS
Possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field Maintains a current, valid Georgia State Nursing Home Administrator's License. Possess a minimum of 5 years applicable management or comparable experience in a long-term care setting. ( Vent unit preferred ) Possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care with a good survey Successfully completes facility conducted orientation, mandatory training and in-service programs. Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.RESPONSIBILITIES
The Administrator leads and directs the overall operation of the facility in accordance with resident needs, federal and state government regulations, and company policies/procedures so as to maintain quality care for the residents while achieving the facilities business objectives. Works with facility management staff and consultants in planning all aspects of facility operations, including setting priorities and job assignments. Conducts regular rounds to ensure resident needs are being addressed, monitors operations of all departments, cleanliness and appearance of facility both inside and out, and morale of staff. Leads and monitors key marketing staff and plays an active role in carrying out the marketing plan. Develops positive relationships on behalf of the company with the government regulators, families, area health care community and the community at large. Leads morning staff meeting in conjunction with other management team. Demonstrates the ability to be on-call 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Demonstrates knowledge of all state rules and regulations and provides adequate instruction regarding such rules and regulations to appropriate staff.
