The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in long-term care management and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality senior care. This role requires effective leadership, operational management skills, and a passion for enhancing the lives of residents in our memory care and retirement home settings. Duties Manage all aspects of the nursing home operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Develop and oversee budgets to ensure financial stability while maintaining high standards of care. Supervise staff, including nurses and support personnel, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development. Implement policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care provided to residents. Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are established and followed for each resident. Engage with residents and their families to address concerns and improve overall satisfaction with services. Monitor facility performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to improve operational efficiency. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in service delivery, focusing on resident well-being. Requirements Proven experience in operations management within a nursing home or long-term care facility. Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management in a healthcare setting. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Background in nursing or related healthcare field is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with memory care practices is an advantage. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff, residents, and families. A compassionate approach towards senior care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of residents' needs. Relevant certifications or licensure as required by state regulations for nursing home administrators.
